On the street where we live

These directions are only for those patrons who have a pass to gain access to Fort Lee.  If you have not obtained security clearance, please refer to the directions to the right.  

Get on 95 South if you are traveling from North or 95 North if you are traveling from South and continue until you get to Exit 54 (Temple Ave exit in Colonial Heights) Bear RIGHT at this exit. As you make the exit, you will enter a traffic circle (round- about). As you enter the circle keep right. This will put you on Temple Ave. 

Stay on Temple Ave until the last stop light on Temple. You will see a sign that reads Route 36 East (or Oaklawn Blvd). Turn left and then right just before the stop light. This will put you on Sisisky Blvd which is the road to the security gate guard. Don’t get in the visitor’s lane. Proceed directly to the gate. 

Make sure you have your Driver’s License, Proof of insurance, and vehicle registration ready to show the guard. All others will need to show their license. Tell the guard you are going to the Lee Playhouse to see the play. 

Once you complete the security check go to the 3rd stop light and turn right onto C Ave. Go to the next stop sign and turn left. This will place you on Mahone Ave. The theater is about ¼ mile on the right just past the Burger King.

Get on 95 South if you are traveling from North or 95 North if you are traveling from South and continue until you get to Exit 54 (Temple Ave exit in Colonial Heights) Bear RIGHT at this exit. As you make the exit, you will enter a traffic circle (round- about). As you enter the circle keep right. This will put you on Temple Ave. 
Stay on Temple Ave until you pass the Army Training Center on the right.  As you approach the end of Temple Ave, follow the signs for Fort Lee Lee Gate Visitor Entrance (You will turn Right onto Rt 36 - Oaklawn Blvd).  This will place you on Rt 36 W.  
When you come to your first Traffic Light, turn Left into the Lee Gate entrance and go to the Visitor Center immediately on your right before the gate.  You will have to go into the Visitor Center and obtain a visitor pass.  
When you leave the visitor Center, go through the Lee Gate and stay straight on Lee Ave.  At the second Traffic Light, turn left onto Mahone Ave (the football stadium will be on your left).  The Lee Playhouse is just past the Stadium on the Left.
